Inventor to ERP Integration for Items and Multi-Level BOMs
Connect Autodesk Inventor with SAP, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Odoo, Epicor, Infor or your custom ERP, so released designs create and update items and BOMs automatically, with no retyping and no missed changes.
Engineering release that reaches production instantly
For machine builders and manufacturers, the Inventor assembly is the source of the production BOM. Yet in many companies, the BOM is exported to Excel and keyed into the ERP by hand. That delays production, introduces errors and makes engineering changes hard to control.
ENGIMANDI integrates Inventor with ERP in the way that fits your setup. Without Vault, an Inventor add-in sends items and BOMs directly after validation. With Vault Professional, items and BOMs are usually released in Vault and transferred to ERP from there, which gives stronger control. We map properties, units, item types and BOM levels, handle make and buy items, and send only changes for revised designs.

Inventor ERP integration questions
Do we need Vault for Inventor ERP integration?
No. Direct Inventor to ERP integration works well for many companies. Vault Professional adds lifecycle control and is recommended for larger teams.
How are phantom assemblies handled?
Phantom components are expanded so their children appear at the parent level, matching how Inventor and most ERPs expect the BOM.
Can new items get ERP numbers automatically?
Yes. Numbers can be requested from the ERP and written back to Inventor iProperties.
Is the integration secure?
Yes. We use the ERP's official APIs with proper authentication and role permissions agreed with your IT team.
How long does it take?
A focused integration typically takes a few weeks to a few months depending on ERP, data quality and scope.
