Autodesk CAD-to-ERP Integration Across Your Design Tools

One integration strategy for AutoCAD, Inventor, Revit, Fusion and Vault. We connect Autodesk design data with SAP, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Epicor, Infor, Odoo and other ERPs so items, BOMs, quantities and costs stay consistent.

Many Autodesk tools, one connection to the business

Most companies use more than one Autodesk product. Mechanical teams work in Inventor, layouts and panels are drawn in AutoCAD or AutoCAD Electrical, buildings and plants are modelled in Revit, and CAM runs in Fusion. If each tool sends data to ERP in its own way, or not at all, item masters and BOMs quickly become inconsistent.

ENGIMANDI designs a single CAD-to-ERP architecture for your Autodesk environment. We extract data from each design tool or from Vault, normalise it into a common item and BOM model, apply your business rules, and send it to ERP through a secure integration layer. The same layer brings ERP numbers, costs and stock back to designers. Adding a new tool or ERP later becomes a small extension, not a new project.

What we connect

Every Autodesk source, one consistent ERP interface.

Inventor

Structured BOMs, iProperties and configurations sent as items and BOMs.

AutoCAD & Toolsets

Block attributes, panel BOMs and parts lists from AutoCAD, Electrical and Mechanical.

Revit

Quantities and product data from BIM models for estimating and procurement.

Fusion

Design BOMs and properties through the Fusion API and Fusion Data API.

Vault

Released items, BOMs and change orders from Vault Professional.

ERP Layer

A single, monitored integration service for SAP, Dynamics, Epicor, Infor, Odoo and more.

Use cases

Typical projects

  • Inventor and AutoCAD Electrical BOMs merged into one ERP BOM
  • Vault releases and Revit quantities sent to one ERP
  • ERP cost shown in Inventor and AutoCAD
  • Standard item numbering across all CAD tools
  • Integration hub replacing several old scripts
  • Move from one ERP to another without CAD changes

FAQ

CAD-to-ERP questions

Should data go to ERP from CAD or from Vault?

If you use Vault Professional, it is usually the best source because it controls release. Without Vault, we integrate directly from the design tools with controlled release steps.

Can different CAD tools feed one BOM?

Yes. Mechanical and electrical BOMs, for example, can be combined into a single ERP structure.

Which ERPs do you support?

SAP, Dynamics 365, Business Central, Epicor, Infor, Odoo, NetSuite, IFS, Tally and custom systems.

Can we start small?

Yes. We usually start with one product and one flow, then extend the same architecture.

Who owns the source code?

You do, with full documentation.
