Klartext or ISO?
Many TNC controls can also run ISO (DIN/ISO) programs, but most Heidenhain users prefer Klartext because operators can read and edit it easily, and advanced functions are best supported there.
Versions matter
TNC 426/430, iTNC 530, TNC 620/640 and TNC7 differ in available functions and cycles. The post must match the control version and options on the machine.
A Heidenhain post should produce Klartext that looks like a skilled operator wrote it.
