Fusion 360 Customization, Automation & Integration

Automate design, drawings and CAM in Autodesk Fusion. We build Python and C++ add-ins, parametric product generators, CAM templates and post processors, and connect Fusion to your web apps and ERP through Autodesk Platform Services.

Design-to-manufacture automation in one platform

Fusion combines CAD, CAM, CAE and PCB design in a single cloud-connected tool, which makes it ideal for automation from design all the way to the CNC machine. Its API lets you create geometry, drive parameters, generate drawings, set up CAM operations and post G-code programmatically.

ENGIMANDI builds Fusion add-ins that turn your design rules into one-click tools. A salesperson can configure a product, Fusion generates the model and drawings, CAM toolpaths are created from templates and a custom post processor outputs machine-ready code for your machines.

FAQ

Fusion 360 questions

Python or C++ for Fusion add-ins?

Python is faster to develop and suits most add-ins. C++ is used for performance-critical or IP-sensitive commercial add-ins.

Fusion updates often. Will the add-in break?

The Fusion API is stable and backwards compatible in most cases. We test with new releases and fix anything that changes.

Can you write a Fusion post processor for my machine?

Yes. See our CNC post processor development service.

Can Fusion be automated from a website?

Yes. Using Autodesk Platform Services and the Fusion Data API, web apps can access Fusion project data and trigger automation.
