Fusion CNC Post Processor Development for Production Shops
Fusion posts built for everyday production on CNC mills, lathes and routers: clean program structure, safe start and end blocks, correct tool changes and offsets, efficient canned cycles and code your operators trust.
G-code that operators are happy to run
On the shop floor, a post processor is judged by one question: can the operator load the program and run it without editing? Programs that need hand edits for safe lines, tool preloads, coolant codes or restart blocks waste spindle time and create risk. Every manual edit is a chance for a crash or scrap part.
ENGIMANDI develops Fusion CNC posts focused on production quality. We define a safe program start, clear tool change sequences with preselection, consistent work offset and length compensation output, restartable operations with full modal state, optimised canned cycles, readable comments for operators and a clean program end that returns the machine to a safe position. The result is code that runs from the first program to the thousandth.

What a production-grade Fusion post includes
The details that separate a good post from a generic one.
Program Structure
Program numbers, headers, tool lists and safe initial modal states.
Tool Changes
Safe retracts, tool preselection, length offsets and spindle start in the right order.
Work Offsets
G54-G59, extended offsets and fixture offsets output correctly for each setup.
Canned Cycles
Drilling, peck, tapping, boring and thread milling cycles matched to your control.
Restartability
Each operation starts with full state so operators can restart mid-program safely.
Efficiency
Shorter code, fewer redundant moves and optimised rapid and feed output.
Post stack
Tools and references.
Typical projects
- Shop-standard post for a mixed fleet of VMCs
- Lathe post with safe tool index positions
- Router post with automatic tool change and vacuum zones
- Restartable programs for long mould jobs
- Operator header with tool list and stock size
- Post fixing unwanted hand edits after posting

Fusion CNC post questions
Can one post support several machines?
Yes, if they share the same controller and similar options. Post properties can switch features per machine.
Our operators always edit the code. Can you stop that?
Yes. We collect every hand edit and build them into the post so programs run as posted.
Do you support Fusion's personal-use licence?
Fusion for personal use limits some post features, such as rapid moves and tool changes. We recommend a commercial licence for production posts.
Can you work from our existing G-code samples?
Yes. Good sample programs are one of the best references for building a post.
What if something is wrong after delivery?
We fix post issues promptly as part of our proving and support period.
