What we need instead of the machine
- Machine builder, model, controller model and software version.
- Controller options list (TCP, tilted plane, high-speed mode, probing, cycles).
- Axis travels, rotary limits and kinematic dimensions (pivot distances).
- MTB M-code list and tool changer details.
- Proven sample programs that already run on the machine.
- Photos or videos of the machine, work-holding and a typical setup.
Digital twin and simulation
We build or use an accurate machine model in the CAM system or a dedicated simulator. The posted G-code is simulated against the model, checking travel limits, rotary solutions and collisions with the head, table and fixtures.
What is done remotely vs on the machine
| Remote | On machine (short session) |
|---|---|
| Post development and configuration | Air cut / dry run verification |
| Output review against controller manual | Single-block through critical moves |
| G-code simulation on machine model | Confirm TCP and tilted plane on the real kinematics |
| Regression testing | First-part cut and measurement |
Using sample programs
(A proven program from the machine shows us:)
(- exact header and safe start the machine expects)
(- tool change sequence and M-codes)
(- how TCP / tilted plane is called)
(- cycle formats that work on this controller)

Remote proving support
During the proving session, the operator runs the program while we join by video call or screen share, reviewing each critical block and fixing issues on the spot.
With good data and simulation, machine downtime for post development can be reduced to a few hours.
