Fusion Okuma OSP Post Processor
Okuma builds both the machine and its OSP control, with its own programming style. We build Fusion posts for Okuma OSP mills, lathes and Multus multi-tasking machines using Okuma syntax for work offsets, tool length, subprograms and machine functions.
Okuma speaks its own dialect
Okuma OSP controls look familiar at first, but key details differ from ISO controls. Work offsets are selected with G15 H rather than G54, tool length compensation uses G56 H, subprograms use CALL and RTS with separate program files, and main programs and subprograms use specific file extensions. Lathes have their own turret and spindle conventions, and Okuma's intelligent machining functions add further options.
ENGIMANDI builds Fusion Okuma posts that follow OSP syntax for your control generation and machine: G15 H work offsets, G56 H tool length, CALL/RTS subprogram structure, correct file naming, Okuma drilling and tapping cycles, turret and spindle selection on lathes, and Multus mill-turn modes with B-axis head and sub-spindle.

Okuma post questions
Can Okuma run standard G54 programs?
Some OSP controls offer ISO compatibility, but native Okuma syntax is more reliable and gives access to all functions.
Why are Okuma subprograms in separate files?
Okuma uses separate subprogram files called with CALL. The post can create and name them automatically.
Do OSP generations differ?
Yes. Options and syntax details differ between P200, P300 and P500, so we match your control.
Do you support Okuma 5-axis machines?
Yes, including MU series and Multus B-axis machines.
What should we send you?
Proven programs from the machine, the control generation and option details.
