The ACC APIs
ACC is accessed through Autodesk Platform Services (APS). The APIs most used in integrations are:
| API | What it covers |
|---|---|
| Data Management | Hubs, projects, folders, files and versions; upload and download |
| ACC Admin | Projects, users, companies and roles |
| Issues | Create, read and update issues and comments |
| RFIs & Submittals | RFI and submittal workflows |
| Cost Management | Budgets, contracts, change orders and payments |
| Model Coordination | Clash results and coordination spaces |
| Model Derivative & Viewer | Model properties and web viewing |
| Webhooks | Notifications when files, issues or other data change |
Authentication and access
Integrations use OAuth 2.0. Two-legged tokens suit server-to-server jobs; three-legged tokens act on behalf of a signed-in user and respect their permissions. An account administrator must add your APS app as a custom integration in ACC before it can access account data. Plan permissions early: many integration delays come from access, not code.

Common integrations
- Issues to Jira, ServiceNow or Teams – sync issues so teams outside ACC can act on them.
- Reporting – pull issues, RFIs and cost data into Power BI or a data warehouse for dashboards across projects.
- Documents – push drawings from a document system or ERP into ACC folders, or archive released files back.
- Project setup – create projects, folders and users from a template when a job is won in ERP or CRM.
- Cost – connect ACC cost data with ERP accounting.
- Model data – extract quantities and properties from Revit models for estimating and procurement.
Designing a reliable integration
Use webhooks to react to changes instead of polling where possible, respect API rate limits, store IDs mapping ACC records to external records, log every sync, and handle retries. Decide which system owns each field so two-way syncs do not overwrite each other.
Decide the system of record for every field before writing any sync code.
Where Revit fits
Revit models published to ACC can be read through Model Derivative for properties and geometry, or processed with Revit add-ins and Design Automation. This lets model data feed schedules, cost plans and ERP. See Revit BIM data automation.
