Revit BIM Data Automation: Parameters, Quantities and Asset Data

The "I" in BIM is information. We automate how data gets into Revit models and how it comes out: parameter filling, Excel round-trips, quantity take-offs, COBie and asset data, and live dashboards.

BIM data that is complete, consistent and connected

Clients increasingly demand structured data with every model: classification codes, asset tags, manufacturer details, maintenance data and room information. Filling these parameters element by element is tedious, and data scattered across schedules and spreadsheets quickly goes out of date.

ENGIMANDI builds Revit tools that fill parameters from rules and external data, synchronise model data with Excel or databases in both directions, calculate derived values, export quantities for estimating and produce handover data such as COBie. We also connect model data to Power BI or web dashboards so project managers can track progress and data completeness without opening Revit.

FAQ

BIM data questions

Can data be updated in Excel and returned to Revit?

Yes. Our round-trip tools export, compare and import parameter values safely, with a report of every change.

Can we read model data without Revit?

Yes. Using Autodesk Platform Services, data can be extracted from models stored in ACC or BIM 360 without opening Revit.

Do you support COBie?

Yes. We prepare parameters and exports to meet your project's COBie or asset data requirements.

Can data completeness be tracked across projects?

Yes. We build dashboards showing missing and invalid values by project, discipline and category.

Does it work with Revit MEP models?

Yes. MEP systems, equipment and spaces are common sources of asset data.
