Fusion Post Processor Migration & Upgrade

Switching to Fusion from another CAM system, running an outdated post, or moving a job to a new machine? We migrate and upgrade posts so Fusion produces the same proven output your machines already trust.

Change your CAM or machines without starting over

Many shops move to Fusion from Mastercam, SolidCAM, NX CAM, FeatureCAM, Esprit or older HSM products. Their existing posts contain years of shop knowledge: safe blocks, macros, special M-codes and operator conventions. Other shops run Fusion posts that were customised years ago and never updated, so they miss library fixes and new Fusion features. And when machines are replaced, programs need to move to a new controller.

ENGIMANDI handles all three scenarios. For CAM migrations, we analyse output from your old posts and rebuild the same behaviour in Fusion .cps posts. For upgrades, we merge your customisations into the current Autodesk library post. For machine migrations, we adapt posts for the new controller and highlight differences operators need to know. Each migration is verified by comparing old and new output on reference parts.

FAQ

Migration questions

Can you convert a Mastercam post file directly?

Post languages differ, so we do not convert files line by line. We recreate the same output behaviour in a Fusion post, using the old code and sample programs as references.

Why upgrade a post that still works?

Newer library posts include fixes and support for new Fusion features. Upgrading also makes future changes easier.

Will output be identical?

We match everything that matters to the machine and operator and document any intentional differences.

Can we migrate machine by machine?

Yes. Most shops migrate in phases so production continues.

Do you help train programmers on Fusion?

We provide post-specific guidance, and can advise on CAM templates and setups.
