Fusion Post Processor Debugging & Error Fixing
"Failed to post." An error in the post log. A JavaScript exception after someone edited the post. A line of code that makes the control alarm. We debug Fusion post code line by line and fix the errors so you can post and cut again.
When the post itself is broken
Fusion posts are JavaScript programs, and like any code they can break. Typical symptoms are a post that stops with an error, messages in the post log such as unsupported operations, work offsets or tool numbers out of range, exceptions after an in-house edit, posts that fail after a Fusion or post library update, and output lines that contain undefined values or invalid codes that the control rejects.
ENGIMANDI debugs the post code directly. We read the post log, reproduce the error with your Fusion document, trace the failing function in the .cps file, and fix the cause, not just the symptom. Where an error is a deliberate safety check, we explain it and change the CAM setup or post logic as appropriate. Unlike troubleshooting, which works out whether a problem lies in the post, CAM or machine, this service focuses on fixing errors in the post code itself.
Read CNC post processor debugging and why CAM posts produce incorrect G-code.

Debugging questions
What should we send you?
The .cps file, the post log, the Fusion document or an export, and the error message or alarm.
How fast can you fix it?
Many errors are fixed within a day once we can reproduce them.
Is every post log error a bug?
No. Some are safety checks, for example a feature your machine does not support. We explain these and suggest the right fix.
Can you fix posts edited by others?
Yes, and we can tidy the edits so future changes are safer.
How do we avoid this in future?
See testing and validation for regression tests.
